The Canalettes Caves are located near the village of Villefranche de Conflent in the Eastern Pyrenees.
Just a 5-minute drive from Vernet les Bains and Le Mas Fleuri.
The Cave of the Great Canalettes is part of a vast underground network of canals and lakes, the Canigou massif, discovered in 1951 by Mr. Motte, and presented in 1957 to Henri Salvayre, hydrogeologist and specialist of the underground world.

The Cave of the Great Canalettes can be visited almost all year round, without a guide. The site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend a day on a site unique in France, very pleasant both in hot weather (the cave has a constant temperature throughout the year) or in case of bad weather.
